BRING DIAMONDS PRODUCES THEIR FIRST ORANGE (PEACH) DIAMOND
Gem quality fancy coloured diamonds are rare. Only 1 in 10,000 diamonds dug out of the ground are non-white. Even then, most of these are brown or yellow.
Orange diamonds are the second rarest colour (after red) for gem quality diamonds. This rarity means that often a high price-tag is placed on these stones, putting them out of reach for many. In fact, a fancy vivid orange diamond set a world record at auction for any coloured diamond at $2,398,151 per carat.
It is very unusual for CVD diamonds to be orange, yet here at Bring Diamonds we have managed to produce this remarkably beautiful pinkish orange diamond. A pure Type IIa diamond with no fluorescence, it is a 0.45 carat pear shape and will make a rare and unique piece of jewellery.
